Application and interview adjustments
We want to support you, so please don’t hesitate to let us know if you need assistance.
Here are some examples of adjustments you can request:
- application forms in a different format,
- a copy of interview questions up to an hour in advance,
- access to your own notes and the ability to write notes during the interview,
- extra time for interview questions and tasks,
- to ask interviewers to repeat questions,
- for interviewers to type the interview questions in the chat box of virtual interviews,
- for a British Sign Language interpreter.
This list is not exhaustive so if you have any reasonable adjustments not mentioned above, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Workplace adjustments
If you successfully secure a role with us, we'll collaborate with you to identify and implement reasonable adjustments, ensuring your safety and wellbeing at work.
Some provisions we already have in place include:
- flexible working patterns,
- reduced hours,
- soft starts, which involves slowly building up working hours,
- gradual return to work following an illness-related absence,
- specialised equipment provision,
- access to Occupational Health Professionals,
- redistribution of tasks to other colleagues, where appropriate,
- software / IT provision such as AccessAble, Audio Notetaker, Balabolka, Dragon, F.Lux, Grammarly, MagicUtilities, ReadAloud, Read and Write.

All »ÆÉ«app employees have access to Office 365, which includes a range of valuable built-in accessibility tools including text readers, dictation and transcription features, and automatic accessibility suggestions for emails and documents.
The list provided above is not comprehensive, and we will evaluate reasonable adjustments on an individual basis.
These considerations will also depend on their compatibility with our existing facilities and IT/software setup.
